Spain vs Costa Rica

Enrique believes in his team

Since winning everything in 2010, Spain have had mixed results at recent World Cups. In 2018, Spain lost to host country Russia in the round of 16, and in 2014 they failed to advance beyond the group stage. This year’s squad is full of young talent, with a total of nine players coming from powerhouses FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. Manager Luis Enrique, himself a former Spain international, believes his squad has what it takes to take Spain back to the World Cup.

Costa Rica sings loud and proud

Costa Rica is at a World Cup for the third year in a row and even reached the quarter-finals in 2014. However, the players are still in the moment and showing their country pride during their national anthem.
