World Cup Group C Standings 2022 Rankings: Updated Results and Matches for Argentina, Mexico, Poland and Saudi Arabia

One of the biggest upsets in World Cup history took place in Group C when Saudi Arabia shocked World Cup favorites Argentina in the group opener.

Mexico and Poland failed to capitalize on Argentina’s misstep after a 0-0 draw gave both knockout-stage contenders just a single point.

Argentina can still top their group and will need to recover from that defeat in their next game against Mexico, finishing with clashes against Robert Lewandowski and Poland.

Can Saudi Arabia, picked from bottom of the table, pull off another upset result and make it through to the knockout rounds? They have made it to the knockout stage only once in five previous appearances (1994).
