Spy thrillers continue to make their homes on Netflix. The streamer is investing in another series in this genre, so if you’re looking forward to Noah Centineos the recruit, you should know that Treason, Another similar show is coming off the tube soon.

The upcoming series Treason becomes stars daredevil‘s Charlie Cox and features a triangle that will leave you on the edge of your seat for more.

This five-episode spy thriller follows the well-established premise that an agent’s past returns to haunt him. But instead of a CIA agent dealing with a Russian spy, it will be a member of MI6.

Secrets can only stay hidden for so long, and for this show’s lead, they include his wife and the life they’ve led together, which isn’t all it seems. Here’s what we know more about Treason!

On November 21, Netflix announced the limited series will be released on Boxing Day. For those in the United States, that is Monday, December 26th. With most people still on vacation that day due to the holidays, it’s the perfect time to stay indoors and watch all five episodes.

Charlie Cox will play Adam Lawrence, an MI6 agent whose past with a Russian spy turns his and his wife’s lives upside down. Oona Chaplin and Olga Kurylenko will also appear in the series, likely as Maddy, Adam’s wife, and Kara, the spy he once knew.
