The One Book, One Community program will continue throughout Metro
The One Book, One Community 2022 program will continue through November with special events and an online community reading challenge. Learn more at 1book1community.org.

10:30 – 11:30 am, Ready to Read Storytime: On Wednesdays, children ages 3-5 are invited to read, play and create at the West Fargo Library Ready to read Storytime. Each week, children and caregivers practice important early literacy skills by reading stories, doing movement activities, making art, singing, rhyming, and playing together.
1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., mahjong and more playing time: This community play lesson is free and open to the public. Mahjong and a variety of other board and card games provided by the library are available to play.
2:30pm – 3:30pm, Let’s Make Tiny Art: Mini Canvas Painting Party for Teens: Teens in grades 6 through 12 are invited to this mini canvas painting party at the West Fargo Library. Finished works will be on display in the library’s showcases this winter. This event is free and open to West Fargo middle and high school students, including homeschooled children. Wednesday 23 November is a school day off for the region’s public schools.

1:30 p.m., Monday matinee free film screening “Die Post”: Continuing the theme of veterans’ experiences, this week’s Monday matinee, The Post, takes place in 1971, where “Washington Post staff face a historic dilemma; whether or not to release the Pentagon Papers, a top secret document revealing that the US government knew for decades that the Vietnam War was unwinnable…” Twentieth Century Fox. Rated PG-13.

6:30pm – 8:00pm West Fargo Cribbage Club: The West Fargo Cribbage Club is the first of its kind in West Fargo and meets weekly on Tuesday nights at the West Fargo Public Library. Cribbage players of all ages and skill levels are welcome. No prior knowledge of the game is required. This club is free and open to the public.
