Here’s everything we know about the show!

Kaleidoscope release date

The Heist anthology series is released Sunday, January 1st at 12pm PT/3am ET on Netflix. There are eight episodes in total, but you won’t watch them all in order. That’s right, this show comes with a big twist!

According to Netflix, each person watching will have a unique and different viewing experience. The order in which you watch the episodes gives you a different perspective on the story and its characters. For example, each episode is named after a color. Some might start their binge with “Yellow” while others will get “Orange” as the first episode Netflix TUDUM shares.

Here is a list of all episodes and their titles:

  • “Yellow: 6 weeks before the raid”
  • “Green: 7 years before the raid”
  • “Blue: 5 days before the raid”
  • “Purple: 24 years before the raid”
  • “Orange: 3 weeks before the raid”
  • “Red: The Morning After the Raid”
  • “Pink: 6 Months After”
  • “White: The Heist” (finale)

It’s a very unique concept and it will be interesting to see how it works, how viewers take the story and if Netflix audiences like this non-sequential format.

Abstract kaleidoscope

The anthology series puts us in the mind of a crew of master thieves trying to get into a seemingly unbreakable vault where vast sums of money await them, Netflix reports. The vault is guarded by the world’s most powerful corporate security team.

According to the streamer, a tale of corruption, greed, revenge, intrigue, loyalties and betrayal awaits you. The crime drama tells the story spanning 25 years and is loosely inspired by the real story when $70 billion in Manhattan bonds disappeared during Hurricane Sandy.
