ARGENTINA vs. SAUDI ARABIA

  • Time: 5 p.m. ET
  • Where: Lusail Stadium (Al Daayen, Qatar)
  • Channel: FOX Sports 1, Telemundo
  • Electricity: FuboTV, Sling, DirecTV Stream, Peacock

It almost goes without saying that Argentina will win Group C. With Lionel Messi’s possible World Cup, they hope to advance into the deep stages of the knockout stages with a healthy mix of veterans and young talent.

Having been eliminated from the group stage four years ago, Saudi Arabia are struggling in this group. Despite qualifying for the World Cup in five of the last seven tournaments, the Saudis have only made it past the group stage once.

This will be the fifth clash between the two countries ever, with two draws and two Argentine wins since their first meeting in 1988.

MEXICO vs. POLAND

  • Time: 11 a.m. ET
  • Where: Stadium 974 (Doha, Qatar)
  • Channel: FOX, Telemundo
  • Electricity: FuboTV, Sling, DirecTV Stream, Peacock

Mexico are in a good position to finish second in the group, having progressed at least beyond the group stage in each of the last seven World Cups. Their big test will of course come when they face Argentina, but El Tri is the favorite to advance to the knockout rounds.

While Poland have a player or two who can get promoted, they struggle in international competitions. At the last three World Cups and three of the last four EUROs, Polish teams have not made it to the knockout stages.

This is the first time these two have met at a World Cup since Poland beat Mexico in the group stage in 1978.

DENMARK vs. TUNISIA

  • Time: 8 p.m. ET
  • Where: Education City Stadium (Doha, Qatar)
  • Channel: FOX Sports 1, Telemundo
  • Electricity: FuboTV, Sling, DirecTV Stream, Peacock

After everything that started with Euro 2020 and their performance in the UEFA Nations League this year, the Danes have become favorites among football fans. Denmark want to build on the round of 16 in Russia four years ago and the semi-finals at the Euro last year.

Tunisia have won just two games in their last five World Cup appearances and many believe they have a tough game in Group D. While they are expected to hold their own against Australia, their clash with the Danes on Tuesday will show what the Tunisians have.

These two only met in 2002 during an international match.

FRANCE vs. AUSTRALIA

  • Time: 2 p.m. ET
  • Where: Al Janoub Stadium (Al Wakrah, Qatar)
  • Channel: FOX, Telemundo
  • Electricity: FuboTV, Sling, DirecTV Stream, Peacock

The defending champions are hoping for a return to the championship game. Kylian Mbappe will lead a talented starting XI that will include Antoine Griezmann and Olivier Giroud, among others. However, the absence of superstar striker Karim Benzema leaves the French with a gap in offense.

If there’s one team that can turn heads, it’s the Aussies. Although they haven’t made it to the last 16 since 2006, Australia have always found ways to prevail against stronger competition.

France met Australia in the group stage in 2018, with the French winning 2-1.
