Cheer Up Episode 12: Release Date, Time and How to Watch

Cheer Up, the K-drama, which premiered in October this year, is loved by audiences for its blend of mystery, romance and comedy. The show is hugely popular and was ranked number three on the most popular drama list for the second week of November.

The previous episode of Cheer Up aired on November 15, and fans were expecting to see the upcoming episode 12 this week. However, according to reports in Korean media, the episode’s release has now been delayed. Cheer Up Episode 12 is airing here based on the updated schedule.

Cheer Up Episode 12: Release Date, Time and How to Watch

Episode 12 of Cheer Up will be released on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 10:00 p.m. KST / 5:00 a.m. PT / 8:00 a.m. ET / 2:00 p.m. CET. The episode will air on SBS Television in South Korea. International viewers can stream the episode on Viu.

Cheer Up Episode 12 was originally scheduled to air November 21, followed by Episode 13 on November 22 and Episode 14 on November 28. However, the release was delayed due to coverage of the FIFA World Cup. Episode 13 will now air on December 5th, followed by the follow-up episode on December 6th.

The broadcast delay is nothing new in the world of K-Dramas. Previously, the release of Cheer Up episodes 9 and 10 was brought forward by a week due to a national mourning period for the stampede tragedy in Itaewon, Seoul. Episode 9 was then moved again from November 7th to November 8th due to the airing of a Baseball Korea Series game.

How many episodes are there in Season 1 of Cheer Up?

The current season of Cheer Up has a total of 16 episodes. The show premiered on SBS on October 3, 2022, and barring any further delays, the season finale will be released on Tuesday, December 13, 2022.

Also, there was no official confirmation for the show’s second season, but given the popularity and ratings of season one, it can be expected that Cheer Up will return for season two.

The show stars Han Ji-hyun as Do Hae-yi, Bae In-hyuk as Park Jung-woo, Kim Hyun-jin as Jin Sun-ho, Jang Gyu-ri as Tae Cho-hee, Lee Eun-saem as Joo Sun -ja and Yang Dong-geun as Bae Young-woong, Lee Jung-jun as Ki Woon-chan and Han Soo-ah as Choi So-yoon.

According to the show’s official synopsis, “Do Hae-Yi is a student at Yonhee University. She is a bright and hardworking person. Due to her family’s poor financial situation, she places more value on earning money than on school. One day, Do Hae-Yi suddenly joins the Theia cheer squad. She only joins the club for money.”

“The Cheering Squad has been at Yeonhee University for 50 years. While participating in the cheer group, Do Hae-Yi experiences the joy of campus life and meets various people from Theia, including Park Jung-Woo, Jin Sun-Ho, Tae Cho-Hee, Joo Sun-Ja, and Bae Young-Woong.”

“Bae Young-Woong was once a member of Theia and is a graduate of Yonhee University. He supports the jubilee team financially and emotionally.”
